Information Request List

In order for the investment bank to put together the selling document (offering memorandum) it needs to understand the client’s business. The advisor will typically put together an information request list and deliver it to the client. The client will then deliver the items on the request list to the investment bank.

Typical items on an Information Request List:
  • Firm history
  • Strategic plan
  • Operations and facilities information
  • Information technology
  • Employee and management information (e.g. wages, benefits, bios, etc.)
  • Organizational chart
  • Financials – historical and projections
  • Growth and cost reduction opportunities
