Never never never submit a resume with typographical or grammatical errors!
Banks use every point of interaction as a basis for evaluating you. They figure, if they find a mistake on your resume when you’re doing your best to impress them and land a job, how diligent will you be once you’re hired?
Incorporate as much investment banking terminology as you can. However, do so with caution and don’t go overboard. Examples:
- Pitched
- Modeling
- Analysis
- Mergers & acquisition (M&A)
- Equity
- Debt
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
- Leveraged Buyout (LBO)
