Accredited Investor

Under SEC REgulation D, a wealthy investor allowed to put money into a private limited partnership. An accredited investor does not count towards the 35-person investor maximum. To be accredited, an investor must have the following:

• Investment cannot be over 20% of investor’s net worth
• Net worth over $1M, OR
• Over $200K annual income, OR
• Invests at least $150K into the deal
